Pics for the Month

"Knock, knock. Anyone home?" James' Valentine Bag for his Kindergarten party. Isn't that cute? Some kids are just animal magnets! Caught blue handed! Christine's Science Fair project was about whether or not fingerprints are inherited - thus the ink on the hands. Too cool for you!"Valentine's Day is a GOOD day! Lots of chocolate!" Also notice the spoon in Jalen Andrew's hand, although he was eating a brownie. That's a new interest of his - eating with utensils. He was pointing and whining the other day. I tried giving him the food that he was pointing at. Nope. The food next to it. Nope. A drink? Nope. Finally I took a long look at where he was pointing, and then handed him the spoon that was sticking out of the bowl. Yep. Bingo. That was it. He now must have a fork or spoon in his hand while eating. Very civilized! This is a quirky little thing that he likes to do. The Cheerios in his hair are no accident, he carefully tucks each one into it's own separate curl. Who knew that food in the hair could be so attractive!

Logan is going through the utensil stage too. He thinks even peanut butter and jelly sandwiches should be eaten with a fork. He knows where the plastic forks are kept in the pantry and I often find one in the cat food dish. I try to think that he doesn't really eat any...

I LOVE how you go from...

"very civilized" to cheerios in the hair.

And I especially love the picture of Jalen Andrew at the playhouse door. That is a stinkin' frameable picture!
