Happy Easter, everyone! Some are happier than others. Oh well.

James and his little bug friend.

Rebekah, not too old yet, to have fun coloring eggs.

Joseph getting a little buggy.

Oldest and youngest hanging out together.

James was so over the top excited to color eggs. It was like it was his first time doing it. I don't think he remembers doing it last year, or the year before, or the year before.
This year was a little crazy for Easter. Erik had meetings at church on Easter morning, and Christine had basketball games on Saturday. So, the Easter Bunny made a special trip to our house Saturday night to hide the eggs, and then came back later after everyone was asleep to bring the goodies. It had rained almost all day Saturday, and it was pretty wet outside, so the Easter Bunny hid the eggs inside around the downstairs. It was very exciting, and Jalen Andrew got into the swing of things (literally) by chucking the eggs at us when he found them. Thank goodness they were hard-boiled.
My sister Katrina and her family came down for a short visit this weekend, and they along with Michelle and her family, and my parents came over for Easter dinner tonight. It was fun to see everyone! No pictures though. We were too busy talking.

those egg bugs are SO cute!! how did you make them?
Sounds like a good easter! I like those egg bugs those are really cute! I missed coloring eggs this year- we forgot it was even easter until Saturday night. Maybe next year!
the bug eggs are adorable. and yea for big kids still coloring eggs. love it!
The bug eggs came from an Easter egg dying kit that I bought last year after Easter for 25 cents. The kit supplied the leg/egg holders and stickers. They did turn out cute, but the best part was how some of the older kids were actually playing together with their egg bugs - conversation, kung fu fighting, all that good stuff.
I don't think one can get too old to have fun coloring eggs. We did it at my house on Easter. My sister and one of my brother in law's were having more fun than anyone else. It was funny. I have so many memories of doing it growing up.
