Tortuga

Last Monday night our family opened up our hearts and backyard to a young desert tortoise. I've wanted one ever since my Mom got Wally, and Alison got Stew. Then of course, Molly came along, and replaced poor Stew. Erik brought, our little tortoise home, and she is so beautiful. She is still young, and fits in the palm of our hands. The kids love her. We've named her Tuga (although half of the family wanted to name her Mike Wazowski. (Maybe Tuga will need a friend someday.)

'bout time! And yes, poor stew. I think you cried more over it than I did.

I am totally jealous. I've been wanting a turtle for so long! Unfortunately, I don't have a lovely desert back yard where one could reside. So...I will wait.

Congrats.

I've heard of people doing this, but don't think I know of anyone else that has one...fun.
