Jalen Andrew went into Nursery at church, two weeks early. I took him to just get him used to being in there, but he was doing so well that the teachers told me that I could leave. So I did, and he was just fine. They told me later that they were surprised at how mild mannered he is with the other kids. No surprise to us.
I took him to the doctor for his 18 month check-up. He weighs in at 22.4 pounds (25% percentile), and is 33 1/2 inches tall (90% percentile), with a head circumerence of 18 3/4 inches (50% percentile). He checks out just fine - developmentally right where he's supposed to be.

Protecting all that is precious - any ball for sports.
Visiting his favorite spot - the rocks.
Enduring his sister's desire to have a little dog or cat to dress up - poor thing.

THtat is the funniest picture of him with the cat ears on! Poor kid, that's what we used to do to Wesley when he was around that age. Except we made him a sister-he actually played the part pretty well...until dad came home.
He is so cute. Give him a big hug and a "love you" from me.
