Today is an important day in Christine's history.
Today she shed the braces that have been her companion (trading on and off with the retainer) for four years.
Today she can brush her teeth easily.
Today she can floss without effort.
Today she can smile without the worry of looking like Eezma
from the Emperor's New Groove ("How long has that been there?")
Today she can eat popcorn, Snickers bars, carmel gooey wonderful fattening stuff,
and drink soda without worry of it breaking down the glue that binds her to the braces.
Today, with her popcorn/goody bag (a gift from Dr. Sabatino) tucked under her arm,
she is free to eat whatever she likes.
Happy Pearly White Day, Christine!
Oh yes, and today she can enjoy no more nagging over her braces from her mother.
P.S. Christine where is your positioner? Hey! Just because you can eat it, doesn't mean you need to eat that much! Did you put your positioner back in? Did you wear it to bed like you were supposed to? What do you mean you can't find your retainer case? You know you have to wear that positioner ALL the time, rest of your life, so your teeth stay where they're supposed to be? May I remind you, just how much your orthodontic work cost?!?
Enjoy your freedom.
Love,
Mom

hahaha no kidding...just the money alone makes me put in my retainer every now and again. There's no way I want to pay for that!
You are so beautiful. The end of braces is a day you will never forget :).
