Sick as a Dog?
Definitely.
Sick as a Pig?
Not sure yet,
but Erik's been swabbed
to find out.
The Q-tip
is on it's way to the lab
for testing,
but we won't hear
the results of
whether it's swine flu
or not, until
Definitely has the flu though,
and we're also waiting to hear
if he has pneumonia or not.
James finally went back to
school on Wednesday,
and Joseph followed him
back to school the next day.
Jalen Andrew's fever cleared up
about the same time.
Erik has been home the entire week,
fluctuating between 102 and 100.5
I had a very slight fever on Tuesday,
and was down for the count all
Wednesday. My fever is gone,
but my congestion remains faithfully.
Our boys haven't been the only
students out sick for days -
there are plenty of other kids,
and teachers,
who are missing huge chunks
of school.
If it's not the swine flu,
I don't know what strain it is,
but it's definitely not the 24-hour variety!

so sad!! i'm so sorry for you guys!
Jeanette, you and your family are in my prayers. I have been tracking the vaccinations, and it looks like my family won't be able to get it until almost December. I wish you the best, and I mean it, I'm praying for you guys.
Oh, no fun! I hope everybody gets to feeling better quickly! I am so paranoid about my son or I getting the flu this season that I'm afraid to go out anywhere. If I weren't pregnant and if he weren't so little still...
