Every year on St. Patrick's Day our house welcomes in
a nuisance of a Leprechaun.
He turns our milk green, while it's being poured into the cups.
He also turns our strawberry jello into lime, and turns the water
in the pitcher into a green, lime flavored drink.
This year he got us really good. Perhaps because there were so many children milling around the kitchen, but the Leprechaun got a little over anxious, and turned our mush, not just green, but DARK green.
He was still hanging around the house, because at dinner time he somehow managed to turn the lemonade and our sour cream green, as well.
In first grade, James learned how to catch a Leprechaun, by propping up a box, with a potato underneath. The Leprechaun they caught at school, left them cookies. James sure was surprised when our house Leprechaun left nickles in exchange for the potato.

haha so cute! I miss my milk being green...and irish dinner. Jared doesn't like corned beef- so i think the Leprocan won't come until Addie's old enough to eat it with me. Green Sour cream! Is that from it being left in the frige too long?? lol :)
