when . . .
Mahalia Jackson belts out, "Go Tell It On the Mountain,"
the apple cider flows,
and the homemade spudnuts get gobbled up,
with no thought as to how many calories are being consumed.
Thanks Mom and Dad,
for starting the tradition years ago,
and thanks for keeping it going,
even now.
