Tuga Time

This girl is getting serioulsy big and hefty!

I guess a nice supply of Mulberry leaves

does a tortoise good.

She's become quite the character too!

She thinks that she owns the backyard,

(maybe she does)

and she wanders all over the place.

She startles me half the time,

when she peeks out from her various hiding places.

And loved?

Yes, Tuga is loved and taken care of,

by this cute boy of ours.

Jalen Andrew adores Tuga!

Sometimes more than Tuga can handle.

And then, after a long time of waiting,

and never being there at just the right time . . . 

Jalen Andrew finally met Tuga's cousin-of-sorts, Wally,

my parents' desert tortoise.

It has been a long time since I've seen him too,

and Wow, has he grown!
