Okay, so this is just a little lesson in blogging for those of you who follow this blog, but don't yet know how to comment on it. It is really simple, and I'll run you through the steps.
*When you are done reading this post, at the bottom of the post will be some labels (the time I posted, "Posted by Brewer's Ink", what label I've attached to it, a picture of a pencil, and # of comments).
*Left click on
# of comments (it will say 0 comments, 1 comment, etc.). This will show you the other comments that people have made on my post.
*Type your message in the box on the right.
*Then since most of you that I'm posting this for don't have a blogger account of your own, just click on the circle for
Name/URL. Type your name in the box. You can just put your first name, your title (like "Mom"), your whole name, or a pseudonym (just e-mail me to tell me what your pseudonym is) - whatever you're comfortable with will do. Don't type anything for the URL.
*Last of all, left click on the orange button that says
Publish Your Comment, and BINGO, you're done.
That's it - that's all there is to it. Pretty easy, huh?!
So, now you have no excuse. Just go ahead and try it. Just remember that others can read your comments too, so don't write anything there that you don't want everyone else knowing.
Okay, we're nearing the end of the post, ready to comment? I'll be waiting.
P.S. If you want to comment on an older post, you still can. The comments are e-mailed to me, so I don't miss any comments even if it's on a really old post.
Okay, now go ahead and leave a comment.

Hi! You made it! Congratulations! My comment shows my picture because I'm signed into my Blogger account. If you use the Name/URL identity, your picture won't show up, so don't worry about it.
I love this blog! It is like the best blog on the net! It is so totally AWESOME and I can't believe how you will let me publish this!
haaha very nice lesson Jeanette! I now know all the rules of commenting :)
You are sooooooooooo funny!!! I love the lesson.
FYI - My mom is 'afraid' of posting comments, but I wanted her responses. So, I set up my blog to automatically email her the posts each time I publish. She then can just hit reply in her email. Does that make sense? I found that since she doesn't have a blogger account it is the easiest way for her to get my posts.
Good doctoring, cute tortoise and always cute kids.
