"It's about time!"
James was in the hospital earlier this year,
right when it came time for his baptism.
Then it took a few more months,
to find the right time for James.
June 4th presented itself as the perfect day for James' baptism,
and he'll share the baptismal date with Rebekah & me.
James has been quite nervous about the level of
the water in the font - afraid that it would cover
his head as he walked in to be baptized.
It turned out just fine though,
and he had plenty of breathing room.
Happy to be following in Jesus' footsteps.
It was a great day for James!
Though we missed sharing the day with some of our close family,
life presenting challenges like it does,
it actually turned out well for James.
With such a small group in attendance,
the lack of extra stimulus
allowed James to focus on what was happening.
James was especially eager to share his milk and cookies
with his family after his confirmation,
but we're especially glad to share our lives with him!
Congratulations, James! We are so proud of you!

A belated congrats to you James! You remind me so much of Hyrum, you two could be twins. I wish I could have been there, but good decision all the same.
