There's a Smile on His Face

Mid-February James began a new medication,

and within two days we were all shocked

by the James that emerged.
He's happy.
He's loving.
He's helpful and kind.
He still has some things that are very difficult for him-
and a bunch of behavioral habits from the past 9 years,
but still . . .
there's a light in the eyes,
and when I look in,
I see that James is home.
